Shona & Scott | Wedding Film | Fyvie Castle | Banff Springs Hotel

“True love doesn’t happen by accident. It has purpose. It is a choice that must be made again and again and again.”

Scott and Shona really wanted their wedding day to be a reflection of the things in life that are most important to them; their friends, their family and their faith. They had spent a lot of time and effort thinking about their guests and how they could make the day special for everyone. It was heart-warming to be a part of such an incredible day.

The morning started off at Shona’s family home in Gardenstown where Kimberley from Room 7 and @Jade Coleman MUA were on hand to deliver the finishing touches for the bridal party. Gemma from Enchanted Boutique was also a huge help on the day, helping the ladies get into their dresses and making sure everything was just perfect for their journey to Fyvie. And perfect is exactly how Shona looked in her dress - just wow!

At Fyvie Castle, Martin Leckie Photography Ampa Crgwp was capturing the arrival of the groom and guests. It was our first time filming at the breath-taking Fyvie castle and we absolutely fell in love with the décor, the grounds and, most importantly, the staff. Celine and her team couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Thank you so much ladies, it was a pleasure to work with you.

One of the highlights of the wedding day for us had to be the ceremony. Andrew McLean, the bride’s cousin-in-law, had the honour of performing the marriage ceremony and his words were so personal, heartfelt and genuine. An amazing way to begin your marriage.

After the ceremony, there was an amazing spread of canapes and fancies put on for the guests whilst the couple posed for some photos. Then, we all made our way to the Banff Springs Hotel where the celebrations continued into the night

Mr and Mrs Youngman, we couldn’t be happier for you. Thank you so much for choosing us to be a part of your day, here are your wedding film highlights x
