We’d been looking forward to Shellby and Lewis's wedding for what felt like a long time, and then all of a sudden we were driving down to Trump Turnberry, a Luxury Collection Resort, Scotland amidst a flurry of excitement- the big day was here!
The bride’s room was a hive of activity on the wedding morning with Asteria Bridal - Make Up & Hair working their way through the beautiful wedding party.
Downstairs, Supernova Wedding Design & Flowers were finishing off dressing the stunning ceremony space whilst Capella String Quartetprovided a beautiful soundtrack as the guests arrived.
As half one approached, Shellby and her girls made their way down the magnificent staircase and all we can say is Wow. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Richard Moffat did a wonderful job, providing a ceremony full of smiles and laughter whilst Khloe, the ring dog, executed her duties to perfection.
As often happens in summer weddings, the Scottish weather did not adhere to our request for blue skies. However, the super talented Julie Lamont-Photography knew all the best locations inside the hotel to create some stunning memories of the couple with their nearest and dearest.
After the wedding breakfast there was a brief break in the clouds and as the couple were super keen, we ventured out to the iconic Turnberry lighthouse. Had the weather been better through the day, we probably wouldn’t have done this. However, take a look at the amazing time we had there, everything happens for a reason. I’ll never forget that clifftop Shellby 😉
An amazing day deserved an amazing wedding band to finish it off and one of our long term favourites, Aurora Wedding Band, didn’t disappoint. If you’re still looking for a wedding band you really need to check them out; their set list is phenomenal.
