What’s not to love about Autumn? The heart-warming colour pallet, the smell of log fires burning and the taste of frothy hot chocolate on a crisp October afternoon. Perfect. These were just some of the elements that Gemma and David flawlessly incorporated into their ‘fall’ themed wedding with spectacular effect. Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel was transformed into a warm, autumnal wonderland with a little help from the super talented ladies at The Flower Shop Peterhead, the amazing teams at Robin's Egg, Seating Styles and A-Line Audio Visual.
The day got off to a very wet start but the atmosphere up in the brides dressing room was nothing but sunny as Rae Mathieson Makeup Artist and Hair By Shelley Robertson applied the finishing touches to the already breath-taking bridal party. Thankfully, just as the guests began arriving, the clouds parted to bless us with the bright, crisp autumn day the bride had been dreaming of. And speaking of dreams, I’m sure you’ll all agree that Gemma looked an absolute vision as she glided down Norwood’s majestic staircase in her bridal gown from Perfect Bridal Rooms. Just wow.
As David waited at the end of the aisle, it’s clear that he too was stunned at the sight of the 'quine he’s kint since he wis a bairn.’ After a lovely, personal ceremony from pastor Ben Ritchie, filled with laughter and fun, the new Mr and Mrs Ritchie headed off in style courtesy of Deeside Classic Campers Ltd- How cute is their wedding camper?!
We love watching JM Style Photography create her iconic bridal portraits whilst the guests enjoyed their hot chocolate and super tasty looking treats FROM Cakerella Cakery along with some fabulous brownie favours from Emma Lois Brownies. #allourfavourites Special mention also to Auntie Avril for that fantastic cake.
